MISSION / VISION

The school’s vision in
accordance with the DepEd’
s vision in general can be
symbolized by the design of
Maonon Elementary School’s
logo. Several curved lines
edging the logo, symbolizes
the existence of life and
external influences that
affects it. An open book with
a lighted torch in the center,
the book that symbolizes
knowledge and the flame
kept on burning, symbolizes
inflaming desire for it, for truth
and for wisdom; back
grounded by Mayon
Volcano, the iconic symbol
of Albay; the laurels, that
represents the highly
competent learners of the
school ,encompasses the
ideals and ambitions aspired
for through the educative
process; and 1947 the year
the school was established,
encased by a singular circle
embodies the unending
provisions of quality basic
education.

With these, we are dreaming
of a child-friendly school
where everyone exercises
their right for proper
education leading to
acquisition of practical
knowledge and where good
values and right conduct is
being practiced. Ultimately
we aimed to produce quality
graduates with strong desire
to serve our country – the
Philippines.

For the realization of its
mission and vision, the school
has been conducting
rigorous planning and is
employing various stategies
with its teaching staff and so
with the stakeholders as
partners for the development
of each learner. Data were
gathered and analyzed thus
enables it to identify the
changes needed for further
development of its clienteles
and of the school in general.
The core values also served
its guiding principles in
molding and developing the
learners holistically. Also, the
educators of this institution
help in the preservation and
application of these core
values as our identity as true
Filipinos.
Effective management and
leadership skills as well as
shared governance will help
realize the learner-centered
advocacy. Hardworking and
dedicated teachers, and
supportive stakehoders
throughout the years will be
of great help in the
attainment of our vision and
